Lexis Usage Guide

This guide explains how to adjust certain Windows and BIOS settings to get the best experience from Lexis products.


1. Disable Secure Boot

Secure Boot must be disabled to use some of our products.

Steps:

  1. Restart your PC and enter the BIOS/UEFI
    (usually by pressing DEL, F2, F10, or ESC)
  2. Navigate to Boot, Security, or Authentication settings.
  3. Locate Secure Boot and set it to Disabled.
  4. Save changes and exit the BIOS.

2. Disable Fast Boot

Fast Boot can prevent drivers from loading correctly.

Steps:

  1. Open Control PanelPower Options.
  2. Click Choose what the power buttons do.
  3. Click Change settings that are currently unavailable.
  4. Uncheck Turn on fast startup.
  5. Save changes.

3. Disable Antivirus / Windows Defender

Antivirus software may block or remove files required for proper operation.

Windows Defender

  1. Open Windows Security.
  2. Go to Virus & threat protection.
  3. Click Manage settings under Virus & threat protection settings.
  4. Turn off Real-time protection.

Third-Party Antivirus

  • Disable it from the system tray icon or its settings panel.

4. Disable Core Isolation (Memory Integrity)

Core Isolation uses virtualization-based security that may interfere with certain drivers.

Steps:

  1. Open Windows Security.
  2. Select Device security.
  3. Click Core isolation details.
  4. Turn off Memory integrity.
  5. Restart your computer.

⚠️ Important BattlEye Information

  • BattlEye must remain enabled for GTA.
  • Do not disable BattlEye when playing GTA, as it is required for proper operation and online functionality.
  • For other games, the anti-cheat will usually stay enabled.
